AC4me Week 1

Week 1 – Welcome

The staff of the Activity Center would like to welcome all of you to the 2013 AC4Me Health and Fitness Program.  We are very excited about beginning the program and seeing each and every one of you reach your individual Fitness Goals.


With that in mind, each week we will put an article on  Our objective, with the articles, is to give you basic information that will, hopefully, motivate you to stick with the program so you will reach your ultimate goal. 


The articles will be brief, providing you with “bursts” of information that won’t take you all day to read.  If you get little snippets of information that are easy to remember, then there is a bigger likelihood you will take the few minutes out of your busy schedule to log on to and read.


Congratulations, you have taken the first step, you have decided to sign up and start working on your health.  You know exercise is good for you, but do you know how good?  Exercise can boost your mood, improve your complexion, and lower your heart rate, along with a whole host of other benefits.


So, do you want to feel better, have more energy and perhaps even live a longer, healthier life?  Look no further than exercise.  The health benefits of regular exercise and physical activity are hard to ignore.  And the benefits of exercise are yours for the taking, regardless of your age, sex or physical ability.   Over the next 3-4 months we will give you many tips on how exercise can improve your life, and we at the Activity Center will be there to work with you and answer your questions.
