Am-Pro PGA Championship Tournament
Am-Pro PGA Championship 18-Hole Tournament
Where: Monticello Golf Course
When: Sunday, May19th, rain or shine
Sign-up for this tournament at the Monticello Pro Shop prior to May 10th
Tournament Play: Individual Stroke Play. Each golfer must have a GHIN handicap to participate in the prize money. Each golfer’s NET score will be used. Guests or players without a GHIN handicap can golf but not compete for prize money. Golfers pay for their own golf fees (annual member’s golf paid).
After Golf: Come and join us at the Monticello Grill after golf to cheer for your PGA golfer and watch as the PGA Championship Tournament unfolds. Enjoy food, beverages and the comradery of your fellow competitors as we await the winners of the tournament.
Who: All SLV golfers & friends with a GHIN Handicap. Players must sign up in the Monticello Pro Shop to play and pay their prize fee ($5.00 cash only) by May 10th.
Tee Times: 18-hole tournament using a shot gun start at 9:30am. Players will be randomly assigned into group of four.
Tee Boxes: Players will play from the tee boxes they established their handicap. Players must indicate their tee box when registering for the event.
Winners: Each golfer will blind draw a PGA golfer’s name from the PGA Championship Tournament Friday cut list prior to beginning their golf round. Player’s net score will be combined with the Sunday score of the PGA Golfer drawn. Flights separate for males & females. History shows that Sunday is a great scoring day for all PGA golfers.
