Moonlight Kayak Trip
Aug. 3

The Outdoor Adventure Club is sponsoring a peaceful, moonlight kayak trip on Thursday, August 3, 2017. We will launch from the Baker Creek State Park ramp (with its newly paved parking lot) near the Rt. 378 bridge. As you may have noticed, it doesn’t really get dark until about 9pm, so we are going to launch a little later than usual so we can have time to enjoy the stars and moonlight. We will launch at 8:30pm and expect to be on the water about 1 ½ hours or less. I have glow sticks for everyone, so we should make a lovely sight!
Be sure to bring: ID, life vest (PFD), flashlight, bug spray, water, and a snack (optional). We will use the buddy system so no one goes astray.
If you don’t have a kayak but would like to join us, you can rent one from the RC or the business on Rt. 378 (contact me for further information.)
The rain date is Aug. 4th. If the weather looks unsettled on Aug. 3, I will send emails to all who have notified me that they plan to attend. Look for the email around 6pm.
Please let me know if you plan to join us so we have an accurate count. See you on the lake!
